Admission Policy
Aims and Objectives
-
Children under 5 are
free but must be accompanied by one adult (18+) in the water looking after
that child and no other children
-
Children who are 5, 6,
7 years or non swimmers may be accompanied by one adult in the water
looking after two children.
-
Children of 8 years
and over who can swim are allowed into the pool unaccompanied.
These guidelines are
inline with national pool recommendations for this type of facility We are
aware that this policy may cause problems to some people. Therefore we do
our best to help and may waive the admissions policy if-:
-
the bather load has
space
-
there has been no
rescues.
-
exemptions have not
been exceeded
It is only at the
manager’s discretion to waive this policy at the time of entry. We cannot
give entry guarantees over the telephone
Please be aware of the
following:
-
A 50p coin is required
for the coin return lockers. During busy periods a call-out system
may be in operation. You will get a minimum of 1 hour in the pool. A
coloured wristband will be issued for a refundable deposit of 20p.

In the interest of
customer safety a detailed admissions policy is in operation. Please look
for signage and leaflets on site. Telephone queries are welcome
-
If you have any
medical conditions that may affect your safety please let a member of
poolside staff know or ask to speak to the head pool attendant

Be aware that there is
no such thing as a non- slip floor. Any surface that is wet will be more
slippery than a surface that is dry. Do not run and take special care when
using the areas around the pool.
-
Owing to the nature of
many modern costume fabrics, the management cannot accept responsibility
for damage to costumes resulting from use of the pool.
